Hi, I'm Mariella, founder of Taliswoman Jewellery.

I started dabbling in jewellery-making in the early 2000s. I would fashion wire rings, earrings, and whimsical necklaces, just for fun. In 2023, I wanted to wear more crystals as I love their harmonising properties. So I dusted off my pliers and made myself a few necklaces. Every time I wore one, it attracted attention – always followed by the inevitable "where did you get that?" question – which led me to set up this online shop.

Now I can't stop making jewellery! I love the crafting process that goes into every piece. It is meditative, unhurried, and deliciously creative.

Alongside jewellery-making, I've been on a journey with energy healing: receiving it, studying it, and delivering it. Through this, I've embraced the philosophy that we are all interconnected, that the world is like a dream-field, and that our words, thoughts, and intentions carry power. So, in the spirit of this, I place healing intentions into the jewellery I create and see each piece as a talisman.
